We had 1 week in april on the boat carpe vita. It was great. The boat is in a very good condition and very proper. The rooms are cleaned daily and also the rest of the boat is in good condition. The staff is very good, very friendly, helpfull and open minded. Captain Adam, a very good fisher :), and his staff are always taking care, that there are no wishes. Also the route is very well planned and the places to anker are nice and calm. The kitchen is extraordinairy good, tastfull and fresh more
Spent 10 days on Carpe Diem in August. I could not fault the accommodation, the meals were excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. Although the visibility could have been better every dive site had something of interest including mantas and many species of shark. The guides were knowledgeable, competent and obliging, I would certainly dive with them again. more
First liveaboard experience and it was simply top notch! Couldn’t have wished for a better guide with Munkko, who definitely deserves a special mention! He really took care of every wish we could have had above and below the water surface and took his time to show us everything. We had the perfect mix of big stuff like mantas and whale sharks to the macro stuff like the extremely cute yellow box fish, nudibranches etc. more
What a great, great trip. This was our first liveaboard experience and the main reason for doing this trip was to be in the water with a whale shark and with mantas and we were not disappointed. I cannot express how much fun we had in our Carpe Diem liveaboard experience just this May 14-21, 2023! From organizing the trip with the amazing Bernie who was so accommodating, friendly and easy to talk with to the top notch crew on board who went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, safe, at home, and ensured we had an excellent time. I did a week long liveaboard (18 dives) on the Carpe Novo and had a fantastic experience! The crew and divemasters/instructors are very experienced, and go out of their way to ensure guests are safe, and comfortable – both on the boat and underwater. The diving team is very organized and accommodating to individual diver’s preferences. Furthermore, you know you are in good hands when the pre-dive briefings are very thorough and the equipment is well maintained. more
Carpe Vita, it's captain, crew, dive. guides and dive boat captain and crew were truly fantastic. The crew go above and beyond for it's guests and dealing and delivering on every and any unexpected requests with smiles and grace. We tested them!! with surprise birthday cakes requests, desserts, vegan meals etc and they delivered each day impeccably!! The chef and bar person were a dream team. The crew looked after our needs from towels, making sure our rooms were cleaned everyday more
We had the BEST time on Cape Vita. The crew were amazing and so accommodating! We booked with a large group of friends - some dive, some surf or both and there were a few of us (myself included) who don’t surf or dive. Bernie made sure that I was able to get out and snorkel, go and explore the islands when we stopped and took such great care of us on our adventures! She is a true gem and has become like family to us! The food was amazing, the chef and bartender were outstanding. more

What is Nitrox?
Nitrox, or Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx), is a breathing gas that contains a higher percentage of oxygen (typically between 32% and 36%) and a lower percentage of nitrogen than regular air. The primary benefit of Nitrox is the reduced nitrogen absorption, which can significantly improve your dive experience.
The four questions guests ask most often. Documents, transfers, diving requirements, cabins, food and payment are covered in full on the questions page.
For all divers joining our dive trips, it is mandatory to possess valid insurance from a reputable provider that covers diving accidents/incidents. Proof of insurance must be presented to our guides during the check-in process. Carpe Diem Maldives provides an insurance option through ALLIED INSURANCE, which can be acquired on board or in advance.
The insurance rates are as follows:
• $40 per person for 7 nights
• $50 per person for 10 nights
As a temporary member, you will enjoy the benefits of being an insured member throughout your dive experience with us.
Airport transfers to the boats are included in your package and operate as follows:
12:30 – Transfer to Carpe Diem
14:00 – Transfer to Carpe Vita and Carpe Novo
Please ensure you arrive on time to avoid delays.
Guests arriving from a guesthouse, resort, or another safari vessel must report to Counter D17 at least 15 minutes before the scheduled transfer time.
All prices are in US dollars. We accept cash payments in Euros, Sterling, and US dollars. Please ensure all notes are in good condition, free from tears, stamps, or markings, as damaged bills will not be accepted. US dollar bills from 2009 or earlier are not accepted by Maldivian banks. Local currency is not accepted onboard for any transactions, except for gratuities. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are also accepted on board with a 3% surcharge. Please check with your bank regarding international charges and exchange rates.
